The Opportunity

New and current employees want to find information about their insurance coverage, retirement benefits, wellness perks, and get access to help. How might we create an experience that makes accessing all of this simple and easy?

User Journey Mapping

We first mapped out user journeys for new and current employees, taking a use-case driven approach to the design process.

User Flows & IA

We structured the app so that your profile, notifications, benefits, and account information are all one tap or swipe away from the home screen.

The Result

We landed on the final designs after multiple rounds of feedback and iteration. The app provides everything employees need to know about their employer-provided benefits, making it easy for them to get the most out of their benefits and take charge of their health, wealth, and wellbeing.

First Impressions

When the user first opens the app, we wanted to illustrate the value that the app offers with illustrative animations.

Interactive Tutorial

Once users log in, we created an interactive walkthrough that teaches the basics of the navigation and other interactions.

Outcome

The Sequoia mobile app extends their service and guidance so people can access it whenever and wherever they need it. It has helped countless members get the help they need when they need it most. The new app for Sequoia has garnered a 4.8 star rating on the Apple App Store.
